Received my order yesterday and smoked some of the Bar today.

It smells like almonds and tastes great. Very satisfying nic hit.

This is good stuff.

Thanks to the folks who made these tobaccos possible.

I'm expecting this to be a huge hit once its fully released.
For comparison left is half a bar of Red, middle is an older release of WH plug and right is Condor that I believe is the current production.

I haven't been smoking all day long for a few weeks, so not surprised at the buzz from the Bar. Taking it easy with my first few bowls. Great flavor, and yes Mate, (read Nate), it smells almon-dy good. Wonder what it really is? I hope Russ will give us some hints. This is going to be great for a middle of the night bowl.

. Wonder what it really is?
Something along these lines perhaps:
Treacle, brown sugar, Madeira Wine, Winter Green and Pepper Mint Oil and Licorice Root

I am very pleased the way it came out and that you guys are enjoying it. Whilst the tobacco composition of W.H Red is as near as damn as we could get to the original there are a few tiny modifications. If you smoke one of those War Horse plugs from way back when and the one in the picture is probably from the 1950s you will notice the faded similarity of taste to the new 'Clug' and I believe Jim Inks talked about this at length in one of his reviews.

Smoked a bowl of each of these. And reflected my opinions and thoughts with Russ on these the red really hits home the olfactory and memory combination of visiting my grandma and it is a very pleasant smoke. The green to me has more of a nicotine hit and about mid bowl really notice the anisette topping. Two thumbs up to both of these.

Jesse is as good as they come.
"Will these new offerings remain a P & C exclusive..."
No. They will be available for every tobacco sales outlet in the the US to sell. Smokingpipes is already on board for 11-8, and I would expect that everyone who carries the Standard Tobacco line will also carry these new blends.
"Two thumbs up to both of these"
Thanks, Shane!

I've only had the Green so far. To Russ and all those who brought this blend to us I have to say you've created an outstanding smoking experience. At once subtle and bold it's one of those rare blends that engages you through the entire bowl. What a magnificent beast.

Hopefully this is available for a while. It's on my February tobacco list.

Jesse is doing yeoman's work spreading the joy.
I went table hopping in the smoking room off of the exhibition floor, tins in hand, throughout both days of the show. "Would you like to try Warhorse Bar? Try a few hits tokes puffs of this terrific recreation of one of Britain's fabled blends." After a few minutes, everybody was just leaning in their chairs with blissed out grins on their faces.

Will these new offerings remain a P & C exclusive or will they also be available for purchase at other sites? I'm asking because I am not residing in the US.
They will also be sold by Smoking Pipes.

Its a proprietary secret recipe owned by the Standard Tobacco Company of Pennsylvania Ltd and written on a very small card that is hidden in Dan's bedroom somewhere. Seriously since we intend to be in production for a long time the recipe like that of Coca Cola will never be put into the public domain. Just enjoy it!
