If you could get high on naphthalene, I would've been stoned every moment I spent at my grandparents... although that might explain a lot.

My order just arrived. I cracked open a tin and instantly recognized the smell. It's Amaretto/almond. I used to own a bar :)

My order must have gotten deleted. Dang it -- the one time I shouldn't have used my personal email account...

That's interesting because no almonds were injured during the making of these tobaccos.

It's arrived, but,is it the sledgehammer son of the original or a pale shade?

That's shocking to me Russ, but, especially at my age, everyone's senses are very different. I've even held it side by side. Interesting. Am I alone here? Anyone else smell Amaretto? It smells great to me! I'm not dissing it, but I don't smell Lakeland.

Nate, maybe a a version of anisette? I smell it too. Smells like really good black licorice. I'm getting to light it up in my 1888 Devil Anse shaped Meer.

Maybe that's it Ash... I just smelled it and flashed back to my bartending days. I haven't smelled anisette in a long time, but I DEF smell a liqueur of some sort. I happen to have a bottle of amaretto here and it smells similar to me.

It does smell exactly like almonds, and the wife's says ameratto. It is rather crumbly and wet. I just tore off a corner and crumbled it up a tad and nuked it for ten seconds. I'm packing it into a meerschaum bulldog that I am dedicating to the red horse. I'll hold reviews till I've had time to bond with it.
