Wanting a Small Chambered Pipe: Recommendations?

Hello all,

I've been looking into getting a small (specifically a small-ish bowl) pipe, but being the newbie that I am, it's kinda like looking for a needle in a haystack.

It's mainly a consideration for having a short (approx. 30/40 mins) smoke after dinner - you'd probably call 'lunch'? - as my current repertoire tends to smoke for at least an hour plus. Of course, I could just half fill a bowl, but a smaller pipe would equally prove to be more convenient to keep pocketed whilst out & about.

Being a fan of Peterson & Savinelli they'd be right up my street, but open to all other makes as long as it could be readily sourced here in the U.K.

So, can anyone with more experience/knowledge offer any suggestions that might fit the bill?

Savinelli has a model or a second line that seems perfect. Roley or something? Brebbia has one as well.

Campus pipes from Kaywoodie would be another google that might take you down a rabbit hole for quick smokes. Opera shapes, pocket pipes, nose warmers, etc.

I like Small Cobs for what you are describing.

I have a Peterson 12.5 with a small bowl. It's a deluxe system with p-lip. Great pipe.

In my opinion, a bowl that’s 1.3-1.5” high or less and .70” wide or less is gonna be what you’re after.

My Savinelli Bacco 321 bent author has a pretty small chamber. I use it for English blends, when I'm invariably freezing my ass off and need to keep it brief.

Ah, yes - thanks...Vauen Mini I've heard of before but couldn't recall the name for the life of me. My local-ish pipe store stocks them IIRC

If you're in the $200 range, Foundation by Musico pipes get my high recommendation and they tend to run smaller.
SPC EU sells them..

Probably above my budget, but let's see what transpires. A small cob might prove ideal...or maybe not

Second for the Kaywoodie Campus. Grabbed one on Ebay for pretty cheap too. Nice short smoke.

Cob, basket pipe, and Peterson junior line are all smaller with a variety of prices. Same with some meerschaum pipes.

My small basket pipe is great for.shorter smokes and stronger blends.
