At 40 years old, I'm certainly not among the eldest members of this forum - BUT - growing up, there were big blue mailboxes on nearly every corner in my neighborhood.
Nowadays, they're so rare, I couldn't tell you where the closest one is (aside from the actual post office).
I miss those.
Very nice...love the stem. I'm a big fan of colored stems. Black stems gets a little boring. This is the merchandise I'm awaiting.
Yorgos Mitakidis - Pipe Dan derived shape, strawberry wood. Extra fabulous blast.

I think it's actually called "sand" by SEM. It's a relatively neutral color that can work with a wide variety of stummel finishes.Im a sucker for colored stems as well. I find this one interesting. Its almost the color of super oxidized vulcanite. of course more even than it would be.
I assumed you were born in the early 90s. I guess nice pipes keeps a man looking youthful. At 40 years old, I'm certainly not among the eldest members of this forum - BUT - growing up, there were big blue mailboxes on nearly every corner in my neighborhood.

Then there’s still hope. Keep a light lit in the front window. Two cans of Sun Bear Tupelo are still lost by USPS, but it’s only been 5 months tomorrow…

Thanks! It was a commission- round two.Your taste in pipes is impeccable.
With prices these days that was quite a deal. Should have at least sent a postcard back to you.I sent a GBD to a member in New Zealand back in late November, it delivered on the 26th.
It went to:
DC to NYC
NYC in and out twice
NYC to Miami
Stayed in Miami for about two weeks, tracking said it left, the arrived, then left
Miami to San Francisco
San Fran - left and arrived twice.
San Fran to Auckland
Auckland to New Zealand then delivery.
All for I think $10 or so.
We laughed and said the pipe vacationed in Miami for a few weeks.
That Mikakidas is amazing, I was not familiar with that carver.
Congratulations on your attempt to turn a pipe thread into a political talking point.Political comment removed.
