I use a roll-up, but that's hardly unique. So far I like the OP's suggestion best. Two or three bowls' worth is plenty for me until I get home. I use General Snus on occasion, so I'll save a container and give it a shot.
I have to get jars for carry and for celleringThese might be them if you're in the US.

Ive used old film canisters for years. You could of course fill empty Big Mac containers... or, you could fill up old film canisters, emptied Bic pens... or, those little pockets that not much else could fit into on bluejeans...
I have never heard that one before but it sounds interesting to meIve used old film canisters for years.
okay your realy thinking outside the bigmack boxIve used old film canisters for years.
those look cool I would say a dip can is probably the size of the fourth or fifth biggest and it holds 4nough tobacco for me, but I only smoke two or three bowls a dayThey also sell these reusable tins which come in a variety of sizes. You can choose the tin size that is more appropriate for the amount of tobacco you want to carry. I just went through a can of snuff and the small tin looks like it can hold a bowl of tobacco if pressed in there hard enough...
