I got an old ugly Willard pot that smokes fantastic.
I just bought two off another forum member and could not be happier.I’m determined to try out Briarworks ...
a good pipe is one you don't have to fight. What works with one person might not work so well for another. I've only had two bad pipes. One very low end one very middle end.I definitely agree with the Grabow's and other reasonably priced pipes as being underrated, any pipe by any maker can be hit or miss. However, I do believe it is subjective of what's considered a 'great smoking' pipe.
One person says "My Peterson is the best pipe I own!".
Another says "Nothing is better than a cob!".
Who's right? Both of course.
That said, I like my Willard Dublin, Grabow's and prefer cobs, particularly the unfiltered.
So my vote is for corncob's and Dr. Grabow's.
my Brebbia is an amazing pipe. Didn't even think of brands when I got it. But it smokes great and gets lots of shout outs from people walking or driving by.Another vote for Brebbia.
I second Rossi. The stummel I have is filled with pits, and the finish bubbled off within the first two smokes. BUT I have had no issues smoking it. The fact that the stem is savinelli is what gets me. Most comfortable stem I've ever had.I don’t know if they’re “underrated”, but Rossi (Savinelli) is certainly one of the best bangs for the buck.
Those are actually way, way OVERrated.Missouri Meerschaum.
Don’t tell @cosmicfolklore, he loves them. Those are actually way, way OVERrated.

I'm fairly novice but my Molina starter kit pipe smokes far beyond my other briars. It is a completely different smoking experience. My next briar will probably be another from them.Molina...I have a couple that I paid $35-$40 and they're really good smokers. They're not mentioned very often here on the forum.
good thing sarcasm isn't outlawed on this site.Medico Brylon pipes.
