Ugly Pipes

I thought this Upshall Bark was pretty ugly, but I bought it anyway. I've smoked it. Nothing magical. Just a serviceable smoker.

I can't find the photo of it, but I'm thinking of a Dunghill that Smoking pipes had for sale last year in which after the tenon the stem took a 90 degree turn to left.

There's this one. I know it's not the one you were referring to but I think this is a strong contender for this thread.

I bet the person that buys one of those isn't going to be a pipe smoker. It's awesome as an award but as a pipe it's ugly. If you're into broadcasting and it's history and have the cash I could see buying that. The same way a sports guy would love to buy a super bowl ring, even if it doesn't go with their style.
