There's a lot to say about the UFO/UAP topic, and it's an interesting topic. Based on there being so many reports, sightings, and recordings, something like the UFO phenomenon is real, with people seeing something like flying orbs or what they perceive as spacecraft. Perhaps the furthest that the scientific community has classically gone in treating the phenomenon with respect, as real and not made up are the cases of lights, green orbs, or fireballs that have occasionally been sighted floating or flying across the plains or deserted. The phenomenon of "ball lightning" is also known and taken seriously, but it seems to be a bit separate phenomenon than the floating light balls or fireballs.
