When I was testing flakes to load into my cellar, I tried this blend and for my tastes it didn't make the cut. It wasn't bad but I liked John Aylesbury Luxury Flake so much better, so I loaded up to around 150 plus tins on the luxury Flake.

Got my tin of John Aylesbury Luxury Flake in the mail yesterday and just finished my first bowl. I wasn't impressed and I wasn't disappointed, its a good VA flake. I also received a tin of Dan's Hamborger Veermaster and I'm currently smoking my first bowl of it and I am really enjoying it.

I’ve a few tins of this in the cellar. But, I’m in no hurry to crack them. Judging by the responses in this thread, they should be left there to ferment awhile. Salty Dogs is good stuff, but the rest of the Dan line I
can’t speak to. ️
