I mean if the we take the previous president in any type of seriousness we can see what he thought of taxes lol
Offensive you say?Is it the Yanks making the tobacco tax completely outrageous, didn’t we have a tea party over this once? WTH is going on around here anyway? the taxes are truly offensive…
that's insane I ran a skateshop for a few years and skateboard essentials cost 3-4 times what they cost here and it seems ludicrous I mean where does that money go? It doesn't even make any sense.Offensive you say?
Try Nanny State Australia where 50 grams of tobacco is now $140.
[No, I won't pay that on sheer principle]
It's just a cash grab for the coffers.that's insane I ran a skateshop for a few years and skateboard essentials cost 3-4 times what they cost here and it seems ludicrous I mean where does that money go? It doesn't even make any sense.
I thought you only had Pipes by Lee ;-)My wife ordered a pizza from our local pizza joint, and I volunteered to go pick it up.
I’d just stuffed nearly a half ounce of tobacco in my super giant WDC Wellington and got up to leave, and she giggled and laughed at my huge pipe.

There is a reason Peterson called their biggest pipes a house pipe.
Some pipes are just way too big to be seen in public smoking them.
beyond group size ? is it stamped "OVERSIZE"?I’ve never smoked it but I’ve had this pre Dunhill (1901) LC for a long time. It’s a monster. Shown with an LB for scale.

The stummle isn't actually stamped anything. My interpretation is not 100%, its based off context and silver hall marks. I haven't really looked into it in a long time but the facts that I can recall are as follows.beyond group size ? is it stamped "OVERSIZE"?
Yeah, one would think.I thought you only had Pipes by Lee ;-)
WOW, that is huge! I wonder how many ounces one could stuff in that pipe.Tightly packed, the experience could last an entire month!! LOL
Hey Briar Lee, the picture really puts the size in perspective. I am sure you got some strange looks from the pizza people. Most of pipe smokers do anyways but given the size of your pipe I presume that you most certainly did!My wife ordered a pizza from our local pizza joint, and I volunteered to go pick it up.

That's what I'm finding confusing about this thread. The pipe pictured looks on the average/small size.Hey Briar Lee, the picture really puts the size in perspective. Will you ever post a picture of a large pipe? That looks quite average? That's what I'm finding confusing about this thread. The pipe pictured looks on the average/small size.
Exactly.That looks quite average?
That one looks practical on the go too. How's it coloring?Exactly.
Until they get the size of those Boswell magnums, I notice nothing unusual about them.
This is my largest one though.
It's getting a slight off-white hue in the shank but in all honesty I spend more time smoking the skull and the reverse calabash cherry wood. That one looks practical on the go too. How's it coloring?
I really like the look of the reverse calabash. Do you have any recent pics of it?It's getting a slight off-white hue in the shank but in all honesty I spend more time smoking the skull and the reverse calabash cherry wood.
