Tips for purchasing first pipe?

Squadron Leader is a good choice. I don't smoke aros, and am not fond of the Frogs, but lots of guys like 'em.
Which Va/Per? That's a type of tobacco, not a specific blend.

Woops - it was Heart & Home AJs. I figured the best way to get into this was to try a little bit of everything that caught my attention at first, lol.

Book. Make sure you read through the articles on here on how to pack a bowl and how to smoke it. You also need to read through on how to break the pipe in.

I have 2 tips. Smoke it super slow & cool. That's the key to a good smoke. Just sip at it. Also pack it loser than you think you should. I always over pack and don't use a torch lighter. Sorry that's 3 tips. ha ha

I guess the pipes will take around 5-7 business days to get here - didn't realize that when I purchase the regular shipping (could have spent an extra $5 to get them here in 2-3, but oh well) so I should have plenty of time to familiarize myself with the various packing techniques in

book, congrats on your new pipe and tobacco's. Do not hesitate to ask questions, there is no such thing as a stupid one. There is a bit of a learning curve to get over, but once you do, it will all seem natural. Just be patient, it does not happen over night.
