That sucks so bad. I feel the same way. Thieves and liars are the worst in my boat. @simnett, i would have died if someone took my PRS Standard 22, i would have been out for blood. I hope they catch those punks....

I hear you man. Thieves suck and I don't know how somebody could live with themselves if they did something like that. I've had some stuff stolen and the worst part about it is that if someone really needs anything I have, they can have it (that excludes my wife, you can't have her).

That blows Hawk. I have had that experience a few times and it is a real bummer. I hope they catch and torture the evil perpetrators that ruined your day.

I hear you hawk, the feeling of being victimized totally sucks. Five years ago my condo was broken into after Thanksgiving. In the past 18 months I've had my car broken into 3 times, plastic hub caps stolen and alloy wheels stolen from the next car. I have the housing authority brick that it was propped up on when the stole the tires waiting by the front door for when/if I hear any funny business going on outside in the future.

Sorry to hear it, bro. Know how it feels. Shortly after moving into my house, I came home to a note on my door saying my dog wouldn't stop barking all day long. Over the next few days, I left her in the house while I was at work, trying to be a nice neighbor. So, then on the weekend, I go out to my shed in the back yard to find virtually all of my tools gone. My DeWalt 18v kit, several corded tools, a full gas can, etc. Sucks, because I totally know who did it, but the cops did nothing. Oh, well. Lack of proof, I guess. They moved out soon after, and I am glad to say my current neighbors are way cool. Chalk it up to naivete on my part. Now, I don't really care if she barks all day. (She actually wasn't, I checked around the neighborhood.) BTW, I love my Taurus .357 Magnum!

I don't own any guns so I am not sure, but should you call someone and report your guns stolen? If your gun gets linked Tia shooting in your area I would hate to think what would happen :S and yes thrives are some of the worst people in society, and not only the illegal ones. My sympathies to you an your family. When someone breaks into somthing of yours it's not only stealing your possessions but an invasion of your space and privacy and that can almost be worse than the financial burden.

Back in the day when we has full service stations I brought my wife's van in for service, week later I noticed she wasn".t wearing her wedding rings, she had took the off and stashed them in the console, went and talked to the owner and he told me I knew I should"t have hired that guy he's waiting on trial for bank robbery, found out the dumb sob lived 2 blocks down the road in a trailer park, that night I armed myself and at 3 in the morning went with wife crying don"t go, parked on outer perimeter and did a sneaky Pete check, saw he had 2 big butane bottles in front of his travel trailer and thought if worse comes to worse I"ll shoot them and burn that bastard up, around 5 I snuck to door and banged and kicked the door, when he finally came out I grabbed his pony tail and yanked him out and wacked him on his head with my 45 then shoved it up his nose so that I had bogger on my barrel, he confessed he stole them and pawned them in 2 different places, I waited till they opened, prodded him in both places with the pawn tickets and it cost me 85$ to get my rings back, dropped him off at trailer and told him I"m comeing back tonight you had better not be here, cop friend found out and told me you should have left us handle it, YEA RIGHT, 2 days later I went to trailer park and trailer was gone The old cajun

85 bucks well spent and a lesson well taught.
Pony tail either got the message or he didn't but he damned well found one less victim.
What's Captainprophesy's tag? "I carry a gun... because a cop is too heavy!"
Two members of the long blue line - family men and veterans - were killed in my community last night and I mourn their deaths. The "alleged" shooter was shot to death several hours later after the KBI unsuccessfully tried to talk him into an extended prison stay.
I believe that my God loves that "alleged" shooter as much as he loves me. But, I don't think he likes him as much.

Gun has already been reported stolen with the local PD. luckily I had the serial number so should it be used in a crime or found on someone's person then it can be proven it was mine and be known that its stolen. I wil probably get it back eventually due to having the serial number. My guess is it may turn up at a pawn shop.

Truly understand what you feel. I could write volums with regards to thieves. Simply said, they have more rights than we do. They use pawn shops and home inprovement centers for the small stuff and body shops and recycle centers for big suff. We have to pay for what the take from us in so many ways.

I think I will pack a bowl and try to relax for I know my blood pressure is way up now. My thoughts are with you.

I like the idea of them blowing their foot off with your property. Have my fingers crossed for it. How great would that be, get a call from police due to your serial number. When you asked how they found it, Theif 1 shot himself in the foot and as he fell shot Theif 2 also. Would almost make it worth it.

Sorry for your troubles hawke. I have been lucky in that I have never been robbed or had a car broken into. I do insure myself quite well so that if it did happen, I would make money off it to cover my inconvenience.

Well I grew up in LA... and to top it off I grew up in LA in the 80's at the height of the Crips and Bloods wars... Ive seen people get shot, stabbed to death, beat to death, Ive been robbed at gun point shot at too many times o count, ive been stabbed... fist fights galore... really quite sad to tell you the truth! :(
But my parents were hippies from the 60's with there stupid peace and love and non violence, they thought people could do no harm and that if your non violent that nothing would happen to you... or some shit like that... and because of that decided they wanted to live in Venice beach... yeah well guess what side of the fence I landed on
This is the reason Ive spent a huge part of my life out in the wilderness camping and just plain getting away. This is why when I was working as a portfolio manager I was buying land both here in CA and in NC... too bad im broke as all hell at the moment  ... next venture is buying up as many acres as possible in Montana and just have my ranch out in the middle of my land :puffy:
