Congrats braves and what season it was. As always I rooted for Boston, but I'll take Atlanta over the Dodgers and the Cheatstros. What a season it was, moves after the all star weekend where great. Now hope they can somehow sign Freeman to a good deal, I think there are not a lot of 1st baseman with his productivity on the market. Albies was fire this season and I think Atlanta got a steal with still years on his contract.

The Braves owners are cheap. I hope they realize that Freeman is worth more than whatever they pay him to the team, the fans and the community. Albies signed too cheap, and really, so did Acuna, though he got a better deal.

I think in this day and age a lot of owners are cheap seeing some teams go full rebuild in the middle of the season and dump their hitting and fielding core (Hi Cubs fans). What will be on the market (Rizzo for example) will be just as expensive.

Its for me beyond believe they got Ozzie so cheap, I think his next contract after '26 with this production will be big!

Actually, I'm very marginally optimistic on this topic. I just know how bad the press will be if they don't work something out.
