after what happened to me this past week I'd be worried even if the sender gets a Delivered status
Smoking Pipes Order Maybe Someone Can Help Me Sleep :: General Pipe Smoking Discussion
EDIT: Fixed Capitalization in Title (See Rule 9) So I placed 2 orders one prior to black Friday and one on Black Friday. They both went out and I saw a box waiting outside today after mailmans truck left block. I figured it was the first order - wrong - I opened it, and it was the second order...pipesmagazine.com
I actually had an order stolen because mailman couldn't be bothered to get out, walk 15-20 feet to my back porch, so he left it on the mailbox because I complained that he damaged a box by jamming it into my mailbox, before that he damaged the mail by putting the box in last, he's put packages in the rain, almost ruining a $500 laptop.
Its like they have no common sense, no common courtesy, no concern whatsoever of what they deliver or to who. I miss the days when carriers could think for themselves and took the time to knock on your door or ring the doorbell, or simply put the package between the door and screen door. If I was rich, like Amazon rich, I'd start a new mail service and train the people to go that extra inch, to put customers first, and focus on customer service and purposely put the USPS out of business.
I wonder if postal service sucks as bad in other countries? Or is it just an American thing? The other thing I don't understand is, how can anyone ship a package without insurance. My experience is they're most likely going to loose it. Or cause it to be stolen or damaged.
My front porch is nearly as wide as my house. Yet instead of putting it in front of my door, they put it on the side away from the door where I can't see it. Actually caught someone on my porch once. I was getting ready to walk the dogs so I had my gun on, they ran away very quickly. I wear my gun mostly for loose dogs that try to attack mine. I had a couple incidents with people thinking they're bad. I also carry at least 4-5 knives. One is triangular. Prevents the wound from closing. If you twist the blade of regular knife it does similar thing. Learned in the Army from a friend that used to be in Special Forces. Trained with German grenediers. He's NUCKING FUTS!! Made stir fry once with grass hoppers in it. Made excellent bear jerky. But he was nuts. Had a Colt Python .357 he made armour piercing bullets, loaded very hot. After 6 rounds he had to tighten the barrel until he started using loctite.
Thanks
