Ok....I guess I'll bite....What are the Bonfire Night and Remembrance Sunday? Is Remembrance Sunday similar to Memorial day? I have no idea about Bonfire Night though....However, I do appreciate the enlightenment I anticipate is coming....

First off, Happy Thanksgiving to all you late-adapters! All the best to you this weekend, and be sure to have an extra helping of yams with marshmallows for us Canadians.

You still have a few days to sign up for Secret Santa. If you have been on the fence, or dragging out your decision for some Mariah Carey-esque attempt at Drama, please dealy no longer.

I *might* close the entries down early just so my army of elves, sugar plum fairies, Christmas Geese, nutcrackers, and Reindeers (Local 3219 International Brotherhood of Hooved Helpers) can make the matches and get them sent out.

I didn't cook Thanksgiving dinner this year, which is a rarity, instead we went to a friends house.

There was no turkey to be found, save for the Wild 101 variety. No potatoes, no yams, no stuffing, no cranberries, no corn, no greens, no rolls...

... and the world didn't come to an end.
