You crack me up Andre! This Saint Nicolas is the actual Saint Nicolas on TV, for the past 2 week my kids sit in front of the TV watching the Saint Nicolas newsflash. There is a big event every year where Saint Nicolas enters the country on a big old steamboat. Kids put there shoes on the doormat with a drawing for him or something to eat for his assistants with in return a present of candy, Saint Nicolas eve at the 5th of December with another round of presents and candy.
Lovely tradition for the kids, to bad the adults make a fuss about it while the kids don't care about the skin color of the assistants of Saint Nicolas. Ah well in the end we spoil it anyway by telling them we lied all the time and he isn't a bishop from turkey who lives in Spain now.....
My pleasure. My wife celebrates on the 5th. I always forget. I need to set a reminder so I can actually fill her shoes with candy.
I just signed up after taking last year off. I have some horrible terrific tobacco to get rid of send along to a unlucky fellow.
