I assume this is where we post that we got our SS gift. Well I did and it sits under my tree waiting to be opened on Xmas Day! I also sent mine some time ago to it's intended receiver. (sorry so late to post I have had it for awhile but not been on here yet). Merry Christmas all!

Good on you! They can't close this thread before everyone has opened their present, right? ;)

@TheIronMonkey those C&D FedEx tins are so funny and so cool too!

Did you make up your own blend too?
Thank you—those are just different views of one tin to show the different things on the label. It was fun to read through @Puffaluffaguss ’s posts and try to figure out things to include on the label that might be meaningful to him. I enjoyed working on it. Part of my inspiration was @woodsroad ’s tin of Mixture 69 from a past Secret Santa thread: Pure. Fucking. Genius. I remember when I first saw that, I knew I wanted in on this Secret Santa frivolity.

While I am interested in blending and hope to do some in the future, in this instance, I only replaced the label on a tin of Cornell & Diehl Bayou Morning Flake.

Well, I was trying to wait until Christmas to open my packages (yes, I received a SECOND package from my SS), but I'm going out of town and my kids and wife had gone to bed and I had dipped into the Holiday Libations! Plus, my pipe time is just that, MINE.

My SS was very generous with two different vintages of Cringle Flake, 2021 and 2022. Cringle Flake happens to be a blend that I anticipate every year, so I am very grateful for both of these.

I also got a tin of Germain's Royal Jersey Original Latakia Mixture. I am very excited to try this as it's impossible to find around here or online. So thank you, again.

There were also two different samples of blends I've never tried. Some KBV The Patience of Dr. Silence, and McClelland's Deep Hollow. I've always wanted to try some of the KBV blends, but every time I go on his website, the blends I'm most interested in have already sold out. So this is a treat. And I've never had a McClelland's Aromatic, but this one smells great and something I could really enjoy.

And last, but not least, there is a generous sample of Katerini. I don't want to assume, but it appears to be the McClelland's Katerini Classic Blend, but I can't be 100% positive. It has a similar McC Red Virginia smell to it, but whatever it turns out to be it smells like the kind of blend that I would really enjoy.

And there was even a MM leather pipe stand. I have been wanting one of these for a long time and every time I place an order somewhere, I forget to add it to the cart. So this was an amazing and timely gift.

Thank you @bluegrassbrian for the very thoughtful and generous gifts. They will be thoroughly enjoyed!
