Stopped watching when the North Stars left MN. That said, if I were to watch pro sports again (doubtful) it would be hockey.

Wow, that sure is a throwback! He was part of the epic Eric Lindros trade, where about 70 guys got sent from the Flyers to the Nordiques (RIP). Chris Simon and Tony Twist on the same team were the Eastern Conference's version of the Bruise Brothers (aka Joey Kocur and Bob Probert) in their own way.
The '93 skills competition was off the hook. Pavel Bure dekeing Patrick Roy was certainly a favorite. Gretzky not so much...he skated in the puck control relay and fell.
Should've had Marty McSorley there to punch the ice surface in retaliation...
I didn't envision this start. Wilson scores, then immediately goes down in the first 20 seconds of the game. My prediction of losing in five still hold, but a fun start tonight. The good times won't last.

I fell asleep in the 3rd OT. Never count the Pens out. The starting goalie had to leave at the end of the 2nd OT (Maybe 3rd?), cramps or similar. The back-up played two games this year - but held out (guess fresh legs not a bad thing).
Given Vasy's record over the last 2 years in games following a playoff loss, I'd agree with you 100%. At least, that's what I'm hoping to see.
After Pittsburgh survived an OT goalie change (supposedly the first time in playoff history), I'm sure every team is looking at their EBUG options. Caps brought in Fucale, because our two starters stink....
Both my team, Rangers, and my home team, 'Canes, made it. Probably won't watch the games, but wish them luck.
