Fell asleep too early last night. I had a late dinner, and a big one -- Chinese food.

Woke up a half hour ago with vague feelings of dread and angst; in me, the toxic effect of MSG.

I always specify "no MSG", but they miss it more than half the time. It is a busy place, a popular

sit down restaurant with a brisk carry-out business, so speed is important to them. To me too.

They probably toss dishes together largely by reflex, so slip-ups will occur. I have to tolerate

things like that, their food is too good to stop patronizing them. ...Just rambling at 4:30 in the AM

4:47 AM and only other person up is Cortez and that's because he has indigestion .The Jack Russell got up long enough to get a slice of cheese and then I had to lift her back up and put her back to bed . If I don't she will cry and wake up the better half .

Right now, it's natibo, dmcmtk and myself that are present ... not much going on, so I'm calling it a day and leaving it to them to turn out the lights if no one else shows up before they go ...

It's 12:36am here in the Pacific time zone and a veritable crowd on hand in the forum ... I use the word 'crowd' loosely since there's not REALLY all that many of us here, but it's about double what we usually have on the premises at this hour ...
In addition to myself, igloo, jdmack09, ravenwolf, metalheadycigarguy, jiminks, and andystewart are up late and using our host's facility ...

I've been 2nd shift for almost 20 years now and can't imagine it otherwise.

No alarm clocks, off when others are working, etc ...
