We all love hand crafted pipes, yes. But let’s take a look at our pipe TAMPERS!
I’ll start with mine. Hand made by Julius Vesz in Toronto Canada. One is Walrus tusk and vulcanite, the other is horn and red coral.

No, I use it often! It doesn’t ever seemed phased in the slightest to my surprise.
I expected a slight type of wear but it wipes off with my thumb so easily and looks brand new each time.

I made these, one is oak dowel and copper cap from Loews , The other is deer antler and copper

I collect tampers including a couple of Vesz tampers. I really like yours especially the red coral. I’ve got a buddy who has a Vesz black coral tamper that I covet! There was a guy who did biz as HammerPilot that made a little red coral tamper for me years ago. ?

I have 3-4 dozen tampers, most made by me from cherry branches. Not a single fancy one. I just hope I don't catch Tamper AD!

Just bought this and LOVE it!...

I have a forest green acrylic 8deco one similar, without the spoon. I like these ones too! And they stand on their own. Love the ventilated base.
