Spent a few days in VA/DC area and made a couple purchases from the local B&M shops. Hadn't tried any of these blends before and likely overpaid quite a bit, but you got to pay for the ability to come in and smoke a pipe in a nice environment.

"Claimed" is right. I have my doubts. But who knows.
Bought from a reputable dealer labeling it as Syrian. I agree though, how much Syrian was going in this blend in 2018? My guess is a pinch with a healthy dose of Cyprian and marketed as Syrian. I like artisans anyways so it’s not a loss to me.
It would be nice if there was a way to find out the percentage. I found the same tin from 2013 and would like to know how much Syrian is actually in it. I was thinking I would crack it at the next local pipe club meeting.

Never heard of Georgetown before, they certainly have some really nice artwork on their blends.

Just jarred up a pound of Hearth and Home - Ten to Midnight. It's a crumbly blend, but I got a picture of these nice slices before I filled my jars.
Common problem.Was going to order right after Thanksgiving week, but decided to do it now and save a whole $5 from SP. This is the first time in several years that I actually ordered during a sale as invariably SP holds a sale within a week of my purchase. I believe cowbell is the cure for a fever. Not sure of its effectiveness on disorders. Pretty sure we’re all screwed.
