While not too freaked out by the recent market news (many of my favorite timed blends are already STG or K) I did just order three more pounds of Match Victorian.
It’s my go-to for whenever I can’t make up my mind what to smoke.

Got in several Nyala, a Cult, and a Plum Pudding. Also ordered a bunch of 1oz bags of individual tobaccos so I can try to learn to identify tasting notes and know what the different tobaccos provide to a blend.
Pulled the trigger on a pound of PS LTF and a pound of Sutliff 507 VA Slices. Plenty of time to let it age.
Solid plan right there with the ounces. I should’ve (and still probably should) do just that.
You can probably guess what inspired this order.
Getting low on pipe cleaners?
I dunno how I go through the darned things so fast!
I think I was watching Jeremy Reeves on a C&D blending video and he recommended trying them all separately. I have a hard time picking out flavors and some lighter tobacco just tastes like hot air to me. I think an ounce of each will be enough to do the taste comparison 2 or 3 times over the next year. Hopefully this makes me a better taster and a better human being.

I think one has to have cumulatively spent at least $10,000 USD at SmokingPipes in order to achieve either of those two conditions. At least that's if those hypnosis sessions are worth their salt.
Was going to order right after Thanksgiving week, but decided to do it now and save a whole $5 from SP. This is the first time in several years that I actually ordered during a sale as invariably SP holds a sale within a week of my purchase. Recently acquired two tins of Capstan Blue Ready Rubbed, five pouches of Amphora Virginia, and a pound of Sutliff Virginia Slices, all for the cellar.
took advantage of 20% off at Pipes and Cigars and got 3# of Match Victorian. their stock seems to fluctuate while browsing so we'll see if it goes through
Looks like a lot of us had the same idea. I'm planning to do a comparison of the three below. Will do a tin opening and review in the next few weeks. 
Nerdy post-script to this order. I discovered that the seal was broken on the tin of St Bruno (dated 3/2024), so it went into a jar ASAP. My first MB tin with a bad seal. Another interesting (to me), note: the tin of Vanilla Roll Cake is dated 7/2021, the same exact batch that my other two tins are from, both of which I ordered at different times, and one from a different vendor (WCC). Perhaps Mac Baren made a shit-ton of this stuff in mid-2021, and all of the retailers have been doling that out ever since?
Two of my Mac Baren tins are from February 2023. Some of these blends don't sell very fast. This is part of why they sold the company.
