Dude, me too!!
I got the notification on FireDance flake (the wife comments on it positively every time she’s been around when I smoke it-maybe if I keep up someday I’ll be smoking in my recliner), so I grabbed it and the Stockton (which btw showed “out of stock” in my wishlist, but available once I clicked on product🤔).

Point is, I knew time was limited so I didn’t even see the 1792 “gooey chunks” or mini plugs. I’m not even going to look at them now, because I wasn’t planning on spending $95 today to begin with (cue the obligatory “Damn you, free shipping”).

I mised the mini plugs.

Nah, gotta get it while you can, right? I did some shopping around online today and found some interesting blends available out there: Boswell's still has Carolina Red Flake and Wessex Campaign Dark for anyone wanting those and Payless actually has Carolina Red Flake w/Perique and Steamworks available!

Dumb question how have filters impacted the coloring of your meer, specifically in the shank?

If you are talking about my 1901 Sam McLardy & Co. meerschaum, it doesn’t use a filter.

In my TAD post I made here yesterday, I showed this Savinelli Trevi Rusticated, I mentioned is the first pipe I’ve bought with a filter.

Can’t help you with your question…
