Thank you. Indeed, life is too short too short for "bull". Way too short!
Only one commercial really made me laugh, but I can’t really remember what it was for, and not worth a search…..When I began my "illustrious" career I worked on a lot of commercials, literally hundreds of them, mostly high end, including commercials for the Super Bowl and the Oscars. We did a heck of a job of promoting the product in a creative way. But we NEVER lost sight that we were using creativity TO PROMOTE A PRODUCT! It's a commercial, not the Great American Novel.
Yesterday's Super Bowl commercials were clearly super high budget, loaded with big names completely wasted, and a ton of rudderless creativity that had NOTHING to do with the product. In my humble opinion expensive failures and pure crap. And WAY TOO MANY OF THESE HORRIBLY INEPT COMMERCIALS.
Anyone else care to comment?
I've seen more than a few ruggers wear head protection. But the coefficient for injury is much higher in American FB than rugger, soccer and cricket combined.I watched about 5 minutes of the game....(pressed the wrong button on my remote you see)....and it was all stop/start/stop/start/stop/start by which I mean the whistle was blown virtually every 2 or 3 seconds and game was stopped.
How on earth is that sport?
And as for the wearing of crash helmets just to play a game ....have you guys never seen rugby being played? No crash helmets or body padding worn there guys.
Think I'll stick to snooker.
Regards,
Jay
