Is taking shits a hobby?

Just kidding.

There must be a line though.
Those 'lines' are called skid marks down these ways...and I guess if you took skid marks to a competitive level it could be a hobby. Points awarded for both length and girth. Participation awards for front wetter's.

As you can tell by my intellectual post, my hobbies revolve around reading and researching, history, ancestry, mythology, etymology etc.

In my spare time I'll antique with the Warden looking for things that spark my interest; and that's pretty much anything to do with tobacco, alcohol and music (vinyl). We usually take one day every weekend and go for a hike, do a little antiquing and then hit up a local brewery.

One hobby that came out of antiquing is restoring pipes and ashtrays. Of course I kept everything I have restored much to the Warden's chagrin!

I still play a little old-man soccer in the winter and until recently was mountainbiking 400-500 miles a year. I'm still somewhat fit at 56 I just lost the passion for biking, mostly for personal reasons.

I think people don't seem to understand what a "hobby" is.

A hobby is anything you do regularly in your leisure time (any time not spent doing work or chores or in school), for pleasure. Engaging in an interest IS doing a hobby by definition.

I don't get why people get so hung up on "hobby" like it can only apply to something like stamp/card collecting or playing a sport or doing sport by using trenbolone enanthate for sale https://brentanofabrics.com/art/best_online_shops_for_trenbolone_enanthate_sale_our_top_5_picks.html, or why they're so reticent to admit that something is a hobby, or how negatively people seem to view the term.

If you do it regularly in your free time, and you're doing it for pleasure, it's a hobby by definition.

Hobbies can be different and it doesn't mater if it is collecting something or playing tenis. In my opinion sometimes even quiet regular things like cooking or watching something can be considered as a hobby

Two years ago we moved into a house with two pianos. Two months ago, out of nowhere, I sat down at one of them and taught myself a bunch of songs. So I decided to start lessons, to learn the "right way" and it's satisfying sitting at the keys, rewiring my brain, closing my eyes and hitting the notes.

I'm not a collector of anything, but my mother gave me this watch that I'd had my eye on for months. It was supposed to be for my birthday, but that's not until December 25, hahahaha. My mother said, to hell with it, I'll give it to you before you get any older, hahaha. I only have three watches with this one, Hamilton, Seiko, and this marvel from Casio. I don't need any more.FA9CB77D-7DA0-4EDF-BD6F-9CD4FF40742D.JPG

I'm doing this Clue play as Professor Plum and that is taking a huge amount of my time. I can't drop simple lines such as : "whats the difference" or I ruin the whole scene as others have lines dependent on those 3 words. I kinda wish I would have chosen a more minor character; like one that gets killed off. Post play: I have my painting, my books to write and theatre design painting, and of course doing nothing while smoking my pipe.

Wayy too many for either my time or bank account to keep up with 😅 although it's funny (though not surprising) how many are shared with others here...

Big ones are firearms (collecting and researching.. mainly historic surplus military arms) along with target shooting and now also reloading ammo... quadding/offroading, traditional archery, alpine skiing, camping, fishing, gardening/hobby farming, learning guitar and piano, photography, oil paints (abstract.. wanna start landscapes)... and the latest which is golf. I think that's most of the main ones. Of course you can see the main trend... love of nature and the great outdoors and anything fun that gets me out there.
