Yesterday it was Makers 46, not bad but it was just a more expensive Makers Mark. Not worth the extra bucks, get MM $10 cheaper.
Tonight it is Old Weller Antique. Very nice, 1/2 branch as it is 107 proof with 8 cubes. This is heady caramel sweet spicy and marshmallow good. Of course it is Buffalo Trace so you know it is good. you could do this straight up but watch the after burn!

Tonight is Abraham Bowman Limited Bourbon. This small batch 100 proof reminds me of the old A Smith Bowman's Fairfax County Bourbon, which was the whiskey of the US congress for many years. At first this new bourbon held up to branch but not to the cubes. It fell apart so not as many cubes next time. I found it sweet at first with honey, vanilla and caramel and finished sharp, no doubt to the higher proof. Overall good.

1986 Soave Bolla... Among the bottles found when dad passed last March. He stored it right and it's pretty good... good enough to finish it all, me thinks!

Bird Dog Blackberry Whiskey. It's not fancy and anything a purist would consider purchasing, but it's pretty damn tasty and get's the job done. It also makes me wish for October grouse hunting.

I think the one blend I couldn't be without is Gawith Hoggarth Sweet Rum Twist

"Traditional full bodied tobacco, hand-spun in to rope form. Can be enjoyed either as a chewing tobacco or pared with a knife for the pipe. A full flavoured, cool smoke. This sweet twist benefits from the addition of Rum."

A Manhattan made with Russel's Reserve and a twist of blood orange. Just put two more tins in the cellar. Life is good :puffy:

Most of my smoking this time of year is while on the computer with a big cup of tea with a little sugar. PG Tips, Typhoo or Mighty Leaf, usually. Tonight it's Typhoo.
