Grangestone 18yr old scotch with a touch of distilled water. Not too much at all though you'll ruin it.

So tonight is Jack Daniels Single Barrel Select. Not bad, just a tad sweet which the branch brings out, 3 cubes. Like all the other Jack's I have tried though it is a bit one denominational, no hidden flavors.

The second for tonight is knob Hill. Slightly sweet, spicy and a bit vanilla. Better than the Jack.

Tonight a straight up Scotch. The Macallan 18. Smokey cedar, cocoa, vanilla and slightly sweet tar at the end. A splash of branch a 3 cubes. Mmmmm

Second one for the night is Crown Royal, Black. Nice, sweet caramel, cocoa and vanilla, really nice. 3 cubes no branch.

Jack Daniels Honey. Rocks.
Other than the occasional IPA, it's my favorite drink with a pipe. Along with a Spanish liqeur called quarenta y tres. Yum.

Mohan's American Blended Whiskey on the rocks. It's a cheap local bottle sold by a local liquor store of the same name. Reminds me of Fleischman's... yeah, yeah, cheap, I know. But good golly I'm addicted! No apologies. ::

Tonight is Crown Royal Maple. The ABC guy talked me into it and well, you have to like maple to be sure. I will dump it and maybe give the bottle away.
Now down to the Whisky vault to see what I have.

OK pitched the Maple. Cracked a Fighting Cock. Not bad at all. Slightly sweet, toasted marshmallow, caramel and a bit of a bite, think of a lighter Booker's. It is 103 proof and from Heaven Hill so not bad at all. Going to buy a big bottle. Drip of branch and 4 cubes.

A few years ago, while waiting for a flight from Ben-Gurion Airport, I visited the humidor in the James Richardon Duty Free shop and bought 5 boxes of Cuban Cigars. I was invited into their smoking lounge, was brought a bottle of Louis XVI and told I could have two shots. I told them that for the money I had spent, they could leave the bottle, which they did. I knocked off a third of it, and was a VERY happy flier that day... :D
