Tonight I had a "Tequila y Sangria". (tr. tequila and blood)

That's a shot of Tequila and a spicy tomato juice chaser.
Have you ever had a "prairie fire"?
It's a shot of tequila with a dash of tobasco. In my neck of the woods it's usually a dare or birthday shot(I sometimes call them birthday candles) but I genuinely like them. The taste of tequila with a little heat? Yum!

Hmmm Assaad,

Never heard of it... I googled it, and I'm intrigued.
As for hot or spicy tequila drinks... tabasco is blase' when it comes to spicing up your "sangria"... I like to use Ground Zero Da Bomb... That'll get your attention.

I usually have a shot of tequila in a hollowed out jalapeño, which is set on fire to warm up the tequila and release some of the heat from the pepper into the drink... man those are good.

But, you have to be careful, when you light something that contains a highly flammable liquid, while holding it.

You eat the pepper of course after blowing it out and drinking the tequila.

Lawrence, I thought you might since you said you were drinking Turkish Coffee. Personally, I drink Lebanese coffee (because I am Lebanese and grew up around it and also because it tastes the same and is a quicker, easier way to make it) and I always use cardamom.

Monday night I mixed some Jim Beam Red Stag with a little ginger ale to go with a bowl of Connoisseur's Choice. The mixture of ginger ale with the Black Cherry flavor of the Red Stag was great. Kind of surprised me, because I've never mixed Jim Beam with ginger ale before, and wasn't quite sure how it'd go. It turned out marvelous though, and made the Connoisseur's Choice taste even better.

Since my last unpleasant bout with pancreatitis, San Pelegrino with lime.

I'll take peace over excitement any day of the week.

I too am a Lebanese coffee fan. I wasn't aware that there was a difference between Turkish and Lebanese coffee. I have had both and they seem to be the same. I always use cardamom as well. My girl friend is Lebanese and laughed at me when I served her what I called Turkish coffee and told me it was Lebanese coffee. I just thought that basically any fine ground coffee cooked on a stove top was pretty much the same.
On the topic of the thread though, I am drinking a glass of iced water with 1 1/2 fingers of Glen Morangie Lasanta on the side.

Appropriately, my second post to this forum occurs in this thread. I am enjoying a Janet's Brown Ale, which I brewed from Mike "Tasty" McDole's excellent recipe!

Was until just now lying out on the grass in the sun smoking Larsen 2011 and drinking a cold apple cider, more specifically Kopparberg.

VO & Ginger ale or Seagrams Seltzer Water
Took a sip out of my wife's glass by mistake yesterday and got a big swig of Coors Light, ugh.....
