I don't think it's too bold to say that they are largely responsible for the American resurgence in interest in pipe smoking. They've certainly ennobled our hobby, as a short stroll through their website and social media presence can attest. They have a tremendous selection of everything, carefully curated, and the best website (desktop and mobile) in the business.
I've only ordered from P&C once, last month, to get some Sutliff Match blends that SP doesn't carry. Service was prompt, everything packed well, and pricing was good. Your mileage may vary.
