So after an insane troublesome Familie thing. A lot of talking discussing and so on... (not with my wife)
I asked my wife if I can smoke my already filled pipe in bed and if she minds the smell. She did not care so I did.
Wow smoking pipe in bed shortly before sleeping is the best. I chose an aromatic so the smell is fine:D
But boy all the sorrows fell off.
Will continue you that. I was super stressed but now I feel like a new person.

Do you guys smoke in bed?

Please smoke in bed, please leave lightweight combustibles around. Please transfer gas with a Dry-Vac. Please line your walls with cardboard. Please use more candles near drapes. Please BBQ in your living room with briquettes.

Please do everything that keeps me on the hop.

Okay, I’m a fire investigator. I’ve lost track of stupid. You’re a grown ass adult and you can make all the silly choices to want, but I’d recommend you think about it.

But hey, what do I know, I’m only in control of myself.

Although, and I’ll leave you with this, I worked a fatal today that was a bedroom fire. Smoking in bed was the cause.

When I smoked indoors, I never smoked in the bedroom. Now, I don't even smoke indoors or in my car.

I recently stopped smoking cigarettes (4 months strong) with the help of having a vape in my hand often (probably too often). I do vape indoors, including in my bed. Less fire risk and no lingering smell. However, my anxiety seems greater.

The weather is starting to break in Michigan, so I will resume my pipe journey shortly (and had two last weekend).

Vape works great for cutting out smoke. Just make sure to follow all the battery safety. Ohm's law is important. The batteries do blow up if not looked after.

No. I have a pipe in the kitchen, mudroom, or upstairs when smoking in the house. Otherwise I'm outside on the porch or in my car. I have a toddler that sleeps in the bed with my wife and I so I don't smoke in the bedroom.

I don't like hanging around in my bed. I only ever do one of two things there, and smoking isn't one. However, I have a comfy chair right next to my bed where I smoke the strongest blends of my day just before sleep. Burley Flake #1 or a rope, I just smoke till my eyes get heavy and I can just set my pipe down and roll over into sleep. I've been doing this for years, after decades of fighting insomnia. Strong tobaccos just beats having to take a pill to get off to slumberland.
