I was gonna say "something with deertounge" just for the uniqueness factor, but it's been addressed. So I'll say 1792 flake instead. Tonquin Bean is not a common pipe tobacco flavoring agent.

For me the recommendations would be any of the (old or new) 3 Nuns. Not uncommon, but It has a die-hard following & definitely not everybody's bowl of leaf. Much as I love rough cuts, curly has an appeal for me.
