I agree, they could just have a canned answer to copy and paste. I have found in the EU what we find to be typical email etiquite to be variable. Email is frequently ignored by businesses. In France its unusual to get an answer. OF coures Im also talking about a country where businesses charge you per minute (while often on hold) to talk to customer service.
Also electronic correspondence is new in comparison to many countries. It wasnt 15 years ago when almost no one had a web page. When they did the links typicically sent you in endless circles. 8-10 years ago businesses considred a Facebook page to constitiute a website.
Back to pipes...Yes, Im sure Radice is far to big and busy to do comissions. Once these companies get large it becomes inconvienient to make one pipe to ship to one place as well as an individual billing. There is probably a skeleton crew handling the routing and billing of many orders and items.
