What a fantastic pipe! Sounds like a wonderful experience. So I really like brindle/cumberland stems… say I reached out and asked about a straight silk cut apple with a cumberland stem, no specific color, would that be a reasonable request to submit? I’ve never had anything made to order.

If you‘re going to order from Tabaccheria Corti, Luca told me he knows the Radice brothers, so email him about the pipe you want, and have him contact them to have a Cumberland stem made. I actually contacted him over this before, he also quoted me a really inexpensive price like around $25 to do this.

By the way, I’m actually getting a Cumberland stem made for mine from MiscoiPipes, that I sent it off to. I’ll post pics on it, when it shows up in that post of mine.

Agreed. It’s the first Rind I’ve liked and it’s hard to find smaller Radices. The more I type, the more I regret it 😭😭😭

I was able to find a very small Radice. It’s my first Radice, and unsmoked (and will remain that way). Apparently, it was made as a promotional item for the Chicagoland show, circa 2015.

It’s actually a little bigger than these two miniature Kaywoodie pipes (which are fully functional and have scaled down stingers).

Here is the Radice sitting on a Savinelli Series III 320 KS to get a sense of scale next to a common pipe (and tin of tobacco):

Absolutely amazing piece! That’s not even a tiny pipe, that’s a micro pipe.

Is that an army mount? It doesn't have the metal thing where the stem is inserted.
While looking for my next Radice I saw that they use this system quite a lot and I find it very nice. Is it strong or does it need attention?
It is an army mount. The stem fits very snug, but I've not smoked it yet. I expect with heat that there will be no worries at all.
