I've been fairly good with my PAD lately but have been thinking about adding an Askwith morta to my stable; his classic English shapes are really stunning.

I’d say Morta has a certain visual appeal.

It’s not a material that would be in the same category as Meerschaum. Meerschaum is a mineral, while Morta is oak. Several thousand year old mineralized oak, but none the less still hardwood. And it will char quite readily.
