Hadn't seen any additions to this thread lately, so I thought I add one I recently picked up. I wasn't really looking for a French pipe, but this caught my eye. Gefapip is not a common brand you see too often, and to be honest I actually thought it was a Butz Choquin at first, but it wasn't. Pretty military mount Rhodesian shape. Many say that French pipes don't get much love, but I gave it some love and it was a pretty easy clean up. Smokes just fine, thank you very much!

This dainty little Ropp was gifted to me by the generous aficionado Alaskanpiper. A neat little sandblasted unit 
One of my earliest Eugène-Léon Ropp pipes, a Cherrywood with a Natural Horn Stem. It’s stamped “Bussang,” so, it’s very likely it was made at Ropp’s original workshop there between 1870–1893. This pipe is truly gargantuan, 26 inches from the front of the stummel to the end of the stem, and easily the biggest pipe in my collection (see a smaller Ropp that’s pretty large by most standards that I’ve posted in WAYS before, a 12 oz. Coca-Cola can, and a Savinelli 320 KS to get an idea of the relative scale).
Heres an example of old school lithe briar by Jeantet, it might be so that Jeantet brand was merged to Chacom nowadays.
This J. Waille Amiral grade straight grain bent billiard. Excellent, massive, flawless pipe from a maker that I wasn't aware of.

My only Chacom. I should by more, its a good smoker, just never think of them when looking for a new pipe.

My humble 2¢ worth to this thread. My three Frenchies---2 Genods with horn stems and stingers (I like horn stems and I like stingers) and a Jean LaCroix. Probably the most enjoyable smoker is the pot Genod. Overall I'm a bit more fond of bent pipes than straight ones, but when it comes to straight pipes I believe every piper should have at least one pot, one prince and one Canadian.

I recently purchased my first new pipe, as all the others are estate pipes. This pipe is a St. Claude made in France.
I have just received my 4th French pipe. A rare 'S.T. Dupont de Paris' in very nice condition. It came with the original pouch.

A French pipe? Wait, I think I have one of those. Yes, a Comoys Traditions zulu. I feel in love with it at Gettysburg Cigar Co. and saved up for it (the pipe along with the B&M surcharge and taxes).
My Butz-Choquins you mean? I like them very much — and by no means expensive. Sadly they went under in September 2019, “liquidation judiciare“ . Both of these are old stock bought more recently. I do tend to fuss over them with briar and stem polish.
