My Cavicchi Dublin. Barely smoked ebay score for under $100.
hard to pick just one. but for english/balkan, petes sh squire. this one is a fishtail, and my first petes pipe.
My MarTelo Swan. Can’t figure out what it is that makes this perfect, but I think I could smoke a wet sock in this pipe down to the famous fine-white-ash and enjoy every second of it. This will be a fun thread!
All well drilled pipes smoke exactly the same to me. Any falling short find themselves in the trash so any remaining pipe in my collection is my best smoker.
It changes but right now it is this Moretti.
This Grabow is currently my best smoker. It's also my worst smoker....the ugliest, and the prettiest. Oh wait.....
It's not my most expensive or best looking pipe by a longshot, however, it sure is the most reliable when it comes to delivering a good smoke. It was my first briar and has been smoked way more than any other pipe in my collection. This makes me wonder if the number of bowls smoked in a pipe could be a major factor in the depth of flavor that it delivers.

I have lots of pipes that I love, love to smoke, and enjoy thoroughly, but this one is strawberry briar, which adds less aroma to the smoke than traditional briar. The drilling is spot on. The tall narrow cone-shaped chamber gives me the smoking properties that I enjoy the most for Virginias. And, the button and draft are perfect down to the micro-details that Beckers are known for.
This pipe, I can set down into the pipe rest in my truck, fill the gas tank, pay, get back in, and I can count on it coming back to life with just a few gentle puffs and continue smoking without relighting.

I have way too many pipes that are my favorites most of which are from Rad Davis.
It sounds smart ass, but my favorite is often the one I'm smoking. That is to say, a lot depends on time and circumstance. It's easy to nominate my Ser Jacopo, with its serpentine shank and stem and terrific blast finish, and excellent wide bit and open but focused draw. I've had superlative smokes out of my Yello-Bole and Kaywoodie as well, and many other various pipes. I'd have stopped buying pipes long ago if so many of them weren't fine smokers.

I know this is very nitpicky, (please don't take the wrong way) but those beautiful pipes deserve to have you wipe off the lens on your phone before you take the pic. It will make the picture more crisp and do more justice to those magnificent pipes of your.

Wow! The stain and stem work so well together on that pipe! Reminds me of a Tiger's Eye stone.
My second "real" pipe purchase and my first from my B&M was this Viking Classic Dublin.
It has become my preferred VA flake smoker. It does well with ODF and Lakelands, also.
As a noob with overzealous cleaning techniques, I managed to strip away some finish on the back edge of the rim, so I've allowed the crud to overtake that area to keep it protected...

So Far I prefer not to jump into final conclusion,
I have a lot of great smoking pipes. But since buying this Vauen Sepion that belonged to fishbanjo a couple of months ago, it has been one of my favorites. I'm not sure how its constructed, but it smokes cool and easy every time with no fuss. I see no reason that this will change as time passes.

Their all good. I enjoy this one the most for longer smokes in the winter. The draw is nice and open.
