That’s one of the better grained/burled barleys I’ve seen. Congrats!
That my current gripe with recent POY offerings, very shallow P-lip walls (or shelve). My 160th p-lip is passable.View attachment 440153
Sure is looking "sketchy" on that upper shelf. But the pipe is nice.

Finally got my Petersons in today. Man these are good looking pipes. I feel like I luck out with my p-lips being nice and crisp.
I was following that briar circle Pete, too. I think it was Dan Chasin that had recently posted something about a similar pipe in his collection, possibly in the PSOI group. It’s definitely cool. The photos by Chance Whittamore (greatestatepipes) always seem somewhat oversaturated and with lots of added contrast, but pipes you buy from him are restored to as close to new as is possible. I can highly recommend him.

Very nice Craig- love the barley finish, but love the lines/stem curve even more.

I love the "Thinking Man smokes a Pipe" cutout!
Mark Irwin had them created and sold thru his blog. I think he still has some available.I love the "Thinking Man smokes a Pipe" cutout!
What is the story with that piece?
Was it once inside a tobacco store?
I would love to have one.
