A bit disappointing they can't explain the grades but I imagine with turnover a lot of picayune history is lost ... perhaps it was "Heavenly ! or Divine !". But then it might be used more often ...

Nothing fancy, but I’m curious about this 313 System Standard.
No faux hallmarks on nickel cap, no silver solder line I can see, wide round shoulders on cap, semi-forked “P” on stamp, MITROI and 313 on reverse stamp.
Anyone have a good guess on age? I’m thinking sixties…

OK, succumbed to temptation. That 15% off tripped me into buying a Hudson. Unfortunately, they don't compound discounts. That is, I'm a bronze member and they didn't apply an additional 5%.OK, I'm not showing off a Peterson but it is tangentially about a Peterson and didn't want to start a thread just for this mini-bitch.
Does anyone have a B28, SH Gregson, or B49 Stacked Brandy Billiard (the existence of which I just discovered)? I'm curious how they smoke compared to a House Billiard ... Its like a combination brandy/billiard/bent egg/stack ...

The rua looks like the one I grabbed then canceled.
I was wrong. This was the one I canceled.
On New Years Day I wandered downstairs to my pipe and tobacco stash and started looking through my still-boxed pipes that I've acquired for the purpose of random gifting to myself... yeah, fun.
Anyway, I found that I had not 1, but 2 estate Peterson model 160 (Army). Seems I was enamored with the idea twice. So, I picked one, (the darker of the 2) and proceeded to load a bowl of Salty Dogs, IIRC.
It's a nice little smoker, although it may run a tad wet. Sometimes more use changes that; sometimes it prefers a different genre of leaf...........
It's a graceful little shape, light and easy to clench. Bowl size similar to my generally favored 314 dimensions.

So, was looking, (window shopping), on SP this evening as I do every evening. Following their end-of-December sale when they discounted their pipes 15%, I see they raised the price of Sherlock Holmes pipes $6. Good thing I now have all the SH pipes I want.
You sure your badge didn't go from silver to bronze and that's the price difference you're seeing? It's happening to a lot of people
