Lance, is that you?I bought it as part of a group buy organized through alt.smokers.pipes. I can’t recall the ultimate size of the order placed with JBT, but it was a good many thousands of dollars. Good times.

Thank you ! That was great. I really like the 2022s and will have to be on the look out for one or something similar if they come around again. I prefer larger pipes but I should have one of these as I like my MM Mark Twain cob with the long forever stem too. Thanks for sharing this article.
Here's one on the pipes that Peterson makes and why.
I've got two, both unsmoked. I'd be willing to let one go if you want it, it's numbered 174/246Thank you ! That was great. I really like the 2022s and will have to be on the look out for one or something similar if they come around again. I prefer larger pipes but I should have one of these.

Which 2022 was it?Stopped at an amazing Cigar and pipe shop. Ole Grapevine Cigar and Tobbaco in Grapevine TX. They had a really nice selection of Petes, even had a 2022 POTY. A good friend of mine has been looking for a 2023 so I picked this up for him.

The 2022 was a Sandblast, I forget the number on it. They even had a smooth 2023 Carroll of Carrollton which I hadn't seen in the wild before.Which 2022 was it?
Those 2022 sandblasts just keep finding their way to you.The 2022 was a Sandblast, i forget the number on it. They even had a smooth 2023 Carroll of Carrollton which I hadn't seen in the wild before.
Yep. I didn't grab it as I've got three in my possession right now, granted ones a gift for my son. They had House and Pub Pipes, 9B, B42 spigot and some beautiful churchwardens as well and a gorgeous PSB 69. It was the most Petes I've seen in a shop in the US.Those 2022 sandblasts just keep finding their way to you.
What was the finish on the 9B?Yep

The Harp line has always been a nice one.I'm really in love with this new sandblast Irish Harp Lovat shape. One of the best smoking pipes I've ever encountered, and it's only on its second bowl.
