I purchased a Harp 107 and a Dublin Castle 221. Both had their drill holes a good bit above the bottom of the bowl. Sent both back. The shop said their inventory all had bad draft hole drilling. I think I'm done with Peterson pipes for now until their quality control improves.

Being the Typhoid Mary of computer science, I'll just describe two of my favorite Petes.
The Around the World pipe for Ireland, an orange stain bent bulldog with a bright nickel band and fishtail bit.
Two bent brandy B11 pipes (verging on volcano shape) that are sitters, one an ebony Killarney with thin double nickel bands, and the other a Shannon with subtle grain and black and brown stain; the B11 is one of the under-rated pipes in the Peterson line. Both fishtail bits.

I also picked up an Estate Peterson Aran recently They are very good pipes I have to say.

It took my days to decide between this and a(nother) Ropp bone stem. It's my first Peterson, and it looks better in person that it does in the stock photo. It's also very light. I am happy with the decision.
