I bought this Kinsale XL23 off a guy on BoB forum ( the one the the Hitler Moderators ) for $45.00 and it is my nightly Penzance pipe. I love the feel of it as it is so smooth and rounded off, like holding a smooth golf ball in my hands. I won't ever get rid of this one, as my son will inherit this.




I am surprised that no one has a "House" pipe from Peterson yet.

That's my collection so far, minus the new System Standard 314 Rusticated that I haven't photographed yet. Can't wait to add to the collection. I LOVE Peterson of Dublin pipes!

Here are two beautiful but very hard to find Petersons: the Peterson 140th Anniversary aka "Charles Peterson's Favorite" and the Darwin Deluxe. Both are straight grained which is also rare for Peterson.

This is an extremely rare 1899 Peterson's Patent Magnum (gothic D hallmark) in near-mint condition next to a Deluxe System 2s for size comparison. Made just eight years after Charles Peterson was awarded the patent for his famous system design, it's possible that this pipe was actually made by Charles Peterson himself! This is the ultimate pipe to sit back and enjoy a good book with and is the crown jewel of my Peterson collection.

A lot of beautiful pipes. I wish I had the trust in Peterson you guys have. The last 3 months I've purchased 3 Pete's and 2 have had bad drilling. I also do not like how pipes for the US market are drilled out for filters like Europe. That's poor manufacturing. I think ill try a system pipe next, maybe it'll be good

I was handed down my grandfathers pipe collection quite some time ago. One of those pipes is a Peterson Rocky Donegal 268 with sterling silver band. This past weekend my father and uncle were down in the basement of my grandparents house and they found the original box with the sleeve! So the video above is the pipe/box/sleeve together again. Hmmm, makes me wonder if there are any more treasures of his pipe collection hiding in the basement or attic. As you can see, he had a keen eye for great looking pipes.

I would love to have a Peterson someday. I am particularly fond of the 2014 Outdoors series Sportsman X105. That green stained briar is sexy! Unfortunately, I can't find out how to get one :?

I went looking for a silver mounter XL02 and, at the 2014 Kaywoodie Event, to my surprise and shock, stumbled upon this! A gold mounted Supreme, the best Peterson pipe I have ever seen! Thank you Sam the Coffee Man!
