Just got a Standard System 307 in the new Dark finish from SP. Guess I'm becoming a system convert now with 3 in the past couple months. The first 2 were shape 314\20s and I wanted something with a bigger chamber for morning smokes or English tobaccos. Even though the listed chamber dimensions didn't seem massive the pipe is actually a dang tank! No grain to speak of but I didn't expect any given the finish and line. Deciding whether to have Spark Plug or Watch City Slices for the first bowl 002-029-49385.2802.jpg

I just picked this Peterson System Standard 313 off eBay. It is unsmoked, although the stem had some chatter. It cleaned up pretty nicely, and I was able to lift the chatter. I do have a question though, for someone who may know. There is a "Z" stamped on the pipe, couldnt find anything about it. Anyway, here she is:View attachment 28132View attachment 28133
Those "Dutch" style bent billiards are awesome and I wish they still made the larger 309 The 313 is probably my favorite system shape from a pure aesthetics POV but I wish they had a bit more chamber

HI peeps, just wondering if anyone can tell me what era this is from.
I don't know if it's new or as in made in the 2000 onward or 1950's onward.
i've seen one from the 50's 60's but the stem fits flush & is same size as the shank.
Plus on mine there is no where it was made? Unless it's was rubbed off with over use but it seems to me just not stamped.
