I also love the continental line. I have a few and would eventually like to acquire them all. I haven't seen that chart before but I'm glad you posted that. The chart below is the one I've been following. Come to think of it I don't think I've ever seen a 25, that would make sense since you said it's the rarest. I've also noticed them mostly as Starfires and some Viscount. Not too often Commodore or El Dorados. I would love to see those.

I think there must be another chart with more shapes because I've seen some pipes not on either of these that are the continental line. The shapes were pretty much a variation of the pipes on these charts.

The starfire Continentals are the most common followed probably by the Viscount. They were made in some lines that the charts say they were not available in such as the Silver Duke and if I remember correctly the Regal. There was also some Emperor and Adventurers. Though not a Grabow the Adventurer was made by Grabow in Grabow shapes. Every now and then a Color Viscount Continental will pop up.

Also,if I remember correctly the 12 shapes shown in AntBauerS post are the only shapes that were made in the Continental series.

Funny you mention that, I actually have a Green Viscount 42. I tried my best to keep it green but the condition when I purhased it lead me to strip the color. I did not like the green but was upset I couldn't keep it original.
Are they any ads that list the colors that were available?

The 2002 and 2003 Collector pipes are kinda rare but not really worth much--$20 -$30.00 depending on condition. There's also some pipes marked just Collector--no date.

There are some variations in the colors. I've seen 2-3 shades of green, blue and yellow in both the Color Viscount and Color Duke lines.

Found me a Dr Grabow Supreme. I think it's a bit of an odd specimen with the oval shank and flattened bottom. Maybe from the sixties?

I have to say, this one isn't quite as supreme as some of the other Dr Grabows in my collection. The briar quality is on the low side and the carving seems a bit rushed.

tuold, that pipe if from the mid 1940's to early 50's. The "Supreme" name is kinda misleading, it was a low price range pipe, behind the Tru-Grain and Select Grains of that era. Those decorative leaves ain't there for looks!
Many of the straight shank Linkman pipes were sitters with the flat bottom.

The word Supreme may not apply to the looks, but it's definitely relevant to how they smoke. I have a Supreme billiard that smokes like a dream. The post was perfect timing. I was trying to decide which pipe to use. I think I'll grab the Supreme off the wall rack.

Yes, ejames, I think the pipe could use just a few more leaves here and there!
danielplainview, I'll join you in a supreme smoke in just a bit.

I got this Westbrook in fairly good condition. I'm finding that a lot of the original owners of these pipes didn't realize that the end of of the scoop is sometimes removeable for cleaning. It was 95% occluded and probably the reason the guy stopped smoking the pipe!
