Three new Castellos bought in a month. All three come from Tabaccheria Corti Lecco Italy.
My friend Luca is excellent to do business with.

  1. Old Sea Rock shape 67, large billiard: I bought it mainly for when traveling by car. There is a flat surface on the dashboard, and this pipe is flat, so it stays standing and doesn’t move. It never rolls over. No pipe stand or support of any kind is required.
It is the best smoking pipe I have ever had.
  2. Sea Rock shape 15, classic billiard: It is somewhere between group 3 and 4 and is excellent for a quick 30-minute smoke. I appreciate it especially in the morning with my coffee. It smokes strong and offers a nice nicotine buzz.
I’ve had quite a few billiards (7), and all were Dunhills, but this small Castello smokes better than all of them. The Dunhills were all estates, though, and some of them were in pristine condition.
  3. Old Antiquari shape 10: This little gem arrived today, and it’s still unsmoked—until it isn’t. I bought this as a go-to pipe. It is short but has a very generous bowl. If Greg Pease loves this shape and says it’s a great travel companion, who am I to disagree?
Love that middle one.

Real nice.

I probably like the simple kk billiard the best. I've been considering a #67, and this most recent batch has some nice shaping esp. of the bowl. Yours has a unique blasted area that's a nice touch

And that #10, I especially like the rings on the underside of the bowl

Just arrived. A shape I always wanted. Pot Canadese #33
It is fiammata by the way.
It's way more beautiful than it looks at the pics.
From Noli pipes Italy. Excellent service and communication. A real pro.

Wow amazing blast! Please do me a favor and take a pic with the pipe resting on your open palm or together with another castello if you have one. I'd like to see the size. I do love this shape but I always thought it is too big. Stunning pipe, congrats!

Wow! That is some length. The bowl looks tall and wide too. Never heard of a pipe that heavy. I am sure it is a great smoking machine.

I have been smoking a pipe for a little over 10 years and have always wanted a Castello.
After going a decade wanting one, I acquired 2 of them in a matter of a few days.

A Occhio di Pernice here. (photo cred to the gentleman who traded me the pipe)

And an Old Sea Rock Opera here.

Haven't smoked the Opera yet. The Occhio di Pernice was enjoyed last night and smokes absolutely fabulously.

I'm pretty excited to own them.
After 10 years of standard Savinelli, Peterson etc. pipes, I think these 2 may spoil me.
The first pipe is absolutely amazing!
