Incredible pipes dave g and pitchfork! Truly amazing condition on these beauties. It looks like they were made last week!

@seldom. That’s an amazing survivor. Any updates for this old beaut?

Mine isn't in nearly as good condition and I haven't really done any restoration on it yet. A bit of saliva and ash has made the silver shine again. I smoke it regularly and it preforms very well. I hesitate to do a full restoration because I don't have enough restoration experience and don't want to further damage such an old pipe.

That’s great to hear. Thanks for the update. The last two I posted above, were in pretty bad shape when I got them.
I’d kick myself if I didn’t ask you. If your billiard ever needs a good home...

dave g, excellent job on those! To be honest I really like that pipe, contemplating the history of it while smoking, and admiring it even if it isn't in tip top shape. Should something change I'll certainly let you know! I see it would be in good hands.

I have a few BBB 'cutty' meerschaums that I have posted in the past. Since the demise of 'Photo*ucket' I have non posted many pictures on the forum. Its something I should remedy in 2019.

May I recommend the album on the forum right here? Takes a touch more in the uploading, but then the photos won't disappear before the site does—not that I think the site is gonna disappear!

Hi

I have a BBB Moonrock, but i can't find anything about it.

Someone in a danish forum told me that BBB made it in connection with the moonlanding.

I recently started smoking a pipe and purchased a BBB estate as my first briar pipe. I love smoking out of it, and my initials are BBB so it was a bit of a vanity purchase as well. I was wondering if anyone could give me any info about when it would have been made, or can point me in the right direction.

Welcome to the forum, and nice looking pipe with good photos. I have only one BBB, and it has some age on it. That one looks pretty new.
I believe there's also a thread on BBBs alone, as well as a place for newcomers to introduce themselves.

Here is one I would like some information on. I have been told it is a BBB pipe. Seems top have the correct logo but cannot find it anywhere. It might be a prototype. Any information would be appreciated.

The smoke traves in s z patterns starting from the bottom of the bowl to the lower aluminum pin. then turns upward to the other pin. Then at an angle upward to near a channel that runs from the mouthpiece to near the bowl. Then down that channel to the mouthpiece. It has an unusually long draw like a Churchwarden in a compact shape. If anyone has the BBB catalog please let me know if there is a picture of this pipe in that reference.
