We share our home with many feathery friends, so thought I’d post some pics of some you only see down under. What’s native to your area?
The New Jersey State Bird is the Mosquito ?

However, since I’m on the ocean, Seagulls are everywhere. As well as Red Robins, Blue Jays and teams of other species along the coastal waterways.

We also have Hoosier Birds as depicted above. This is Jersey!

Seriously @Ahi Ka , the southern hemisphere has some incredible birds and this won't even be close.

Years ago when my wife and I were in Australia, we were amazed at the number of cockatoos around Cairns. I remember driving through residential areas taking pictures of them, they were everywhere like sparrows here. The locals must have thought we were nuts.
