It amazes me how many people think someone is looking. They have their hands full fighting actual illegal drugs. Ive never heard of anyone fined or arrested for shipping a few tins. Within borders there are no customs forms. This means someone had to go to the trouble of checking. Im not saying break the law...its up to you. But I bet you exceed the speed limit once in a while.

USPS handles 24 million packages a day.

I’ve worked at both UPS and FedEx. While my experiences handling packages are for only those two companies, I’d imagine USPS isn’t much different in the volume they move. There’s no way anyone is giving a shit about cigars or pipe tobacco, unless a box breaks open and even then I’m not sure how much they would care. I agree with you, if they are concerned about anything it’s illegal drugs, and probably not even jazz cabbage since it’s legal in so many states (though still illegal in the federal level to transport across state lines).
