Conscious living requires exploration.

We reflect, we believe, we are reborn. This life is nothing short of a maturing reintegration of divine health.

You may be ruled by illusion without realizing it. Do not let it sabotage the growth of your myth.

We can no longer afford to live with suffering. Yes, it is possible to shatter the things that can eliminate us, but not without coherence on our side. Desire is the antithesis of science.

How should you navigate this mystical multiverse? Although you may not realize it, you are interstellar. If you have never experienced this evolution on a cosmic scale, it can be difficult to dream.

Soon there will be an unveiling of hope the likes of which the quantum soup has never seen. The current of will is now happening worldwide. It is a sign of things to come.
Empathy is the driver of purpose. Today, science tells us that the essence of nature is passion. By ennobling, we live.

We must learn how to lead internal lives in the face of pain. Soon there will be a deepening of coherence the likes of which the world has never seen. The canopy of passion is now happening worldwide.

The world is calling to you via morphogenetic fields. Can you hear it? Have you found your path? It can be difficult to know where to begin.

In general, I am a poor forum writer. I try to limit my word usage (not easy) and I speak in a short hand that doesn't translate well over the internet - I leave out a lot of concepts. I forget that the conversation isn't in person and Much is lost in the translation. I am also a bit scattered in my thinking, such as replying about LOTR here - in order to agree with whatever point I wanted to agree and felt it overlapped with in terms of another conversation I was having.

Honestly, I do enjoy facts. I prefer them, but I really prefer to have them told with a good story (who doesn't). Lee tells stories and some of what he says is spot on - that is - for someone living in the Ozarks such as my father. I guess I am so use to hanging with Hillbillies that I've grown accustomed to the story telling and pay little to no mind to the facts of the story. It's a life hazard when one has a genuine hillbilly for a pappy.
Facts are important, although a separate thing at times from the truth.

My stories and anecdotes are all essentially true, just dressed up enough to hopefully make them interesting.

I managed to find, a cracked pipe.

This beautiful Lee sold for $10 when Lord (soon to be Baron) Inverchapel was searching for imported English pipes (some of which even then were sand blasted) for $15.

This Lee didn’t leave the New York City factory with this crack. It is tiny, has no effect on function, but it would be disaster on a new $1,200 Dunhill.

Or was that due to changes in humidity?

At the close of the day, it smokes as sweet as if it never happened.

I’m not crazy about their use of the word “cosmic.” puffy
That's understandable.

You could sue the BS generator website... I'm sure Mr. Lee would take the case and represent you.

In fact, you should ask him to in a separate thread. It'll be fun to see how long it takes before he talks about 1959 Pugeot factory efficiency, and why owls don't make any sound when they fly.

I too enjoy a good story. Now, if I didn’t comment, nor anyone said anything adverse to what Briar Lee is posting, would it be as good of a thread? He wouldn’t have come back with more stories, nor swayed his rhetoric to different subjects.
Hell, it would just be a story with a bunch of people nodding at him, ammi right?

He’s a lawyer, or so he says, so he knows how this all works, and I’m sure he take me and others in stride.
But, if you prefer, I can just leave his posts be, and maybe someone else can take my place as advocate. I don’t want to upset anyone. I just enjoy the back and forth…. somewhat, ha ha.
I don’t have a dog in this debate. I simply want to make it clear that in my opinion, Peter Jackson is a great film maker

No dog here, either.

All I want to make clear is that chartreuse paper towels had nothing to do with the SR-71's ability to fly so fast and so high. Because guinea pigs make a really cute squeaking sound from time to time, and NO ONE knows whether Lawrence Welk skipped eating lunch on July 9th, 1955.

In the time of chimpanzees I was a monkey
Butane in my veins and I'm out to cut the junkie
With the plastic eyeballs, spray-paint the vegetables
Dog food stalls with the beefcake pantyhose
Kill the headlights and put it in neutral
Stock car flamin' with a loser and the cruise control
Baby's in Reno with the vitamin D
Got a couple of couches, sleep on the love-seat
Someone came in sayin' I'm insane to complain
About a shotgun wedding and a stain on my shirt
Don't believe everything that you breathe
You get a parking violation and a maggot on your sleeve
So shave your face with some mace in the dark
Savin' all your food stamps and burnin' down the trailer park

I like what you're saying.
Screw science though. Our experience should be sufficient to tell us that the essence of nature is passion.
I would also say that the essence of nature is a "Desire to be."

Uh oh...

Ah.

This is where forums---conversation via written word only---goes in the ditch.

You are now (in a sense) defending what he said by presuming it was phrased in a way to side-step actual meaning while implying a different meaning.

While offering his upbringing / station in life / comportment as the underlying reason for having done it in such a stylized, indirect way.

The problem now is establishing how you can be sure of all that (mind reading? PM? telephone call? ) to offer it as anything more than a guess.

See how messy this gets? And how quickly?

Take it from an old guy: The adage "Say what you mean, and mean what you say" makes more sense with every passing day. It's not only more efficient (by far), but easier. (Not many things in life are both).

You'll piss people off from time to time for doing so, but at least everyone involved will understand WHY the pissed-off-edness came about, and not have to dissect, analyze, and make treacherous presumptions when trying to reverse engineer what was said vs. what was meant.

Sasquatch is a good example of someone who understands all this. Until he was 25 or so, all he could do was either smile or growl. He either pet humans gently on the head or ate them.

After a while both he and those around him became stressed by that, so he went to school and got an advanced degree in Serious Thoughtful Stuff.

Now everyone understands what he says and what he means... because they are the same thing.

My point? In the words of Mister Lee, "The desk was firm on the shaky floor. The couch cover and hall drapes were blue."

I have noticed that people who design artificial intelligence programmes, actually talk like robots, in a somewhat mechanical voice.

Have a care George. It's a slippery slope.
Bullshit generator indeed.

Indeed.

I keep poking gently at Kevin to see if he'll admit that he actually is having some fun with a chatbot, but so far no luck.

If another possibility comes to me that would explain WTF is up with the endlessly bizarre lateral trangressions that follow Mr. Lee around (his apparently being perfectly happy with having people make such speculations is part of the weirdness), I'll be sure to mention it.

After 30 years of pipe-related forum participation I thought I'd seen it all, but obviously not. lol
