Thank you! I agree. This model in particular is becoming a favorite of mine. That's a beaut! Savinelli consistently knocks it out of the park IMHO. Enjoy!
It's quickly becoming one of my favorites.Very nice looking pipe. Love the shape.
Nice ebay score! The 616 is described as one of the largest pipes Savanelli offers, and it also comes in a jumbo 616 EX size.
This is a slightly used Savenelli sub brand Baronet 616 EX I won on eBay.

We are living in a golden age of pipe smoking, until the do gooders catch up to us.
You should get one soon. I only smoke when I know I have time so big bowls are definitely what I like.I'm a big fan of the 616, don't have one yet but the shape is pleasant and sometimes they can be pretty big.
Yeah, thats a nice one.
Thanks.Yeah, thats a nice one.
You're welcome. Might have to hunt one of these down. Agreed on the weight but it's not too bad.Thanks.
I love it. Definitely one of my larger pipes
Feels nice in hand but too heavy to clench for more than a few minutes
Which line is this from? I silver banded 616 is exactly what I've been looking for.
It’s the “Silver” seriesWhich line is this from? I silver banded 616 is exactly what I've been looking for.
That... would make sense. It looks like it's a retired series that I'll have to keep an eye out for on eBay.It’s the “Silver” series
You may well be right.That... would make sense. It looks like it's a retired series that I'll have to keep an eye out for on eBay.
I don't see many Stanwell sellers in the US anymore but I agree with Savinellis and also Petersons (I think the companies are related). It seems like some of the lines are popular but most of them seem kitschy to me.You may well be right.
I bought it as an estate.
I only have 2 Savinellis and really don't know much about the brand.
I find Savs and Stanwells with their multitude of lines extremely confusing especially when it comes to their heirachy.
They seem to retire, and introduce new lines constantly.
