Nice photos, Dave. Thanks for posting those. I like what you did with the Rossi. Looks very nice in the burgundy, and the ring is a nice touch.

I have also been looking at the 320 and from reading these posts I think I'm heading in the right direction. See I have been wanting to add a good English smoking pipe and have been looking at the Pot , Apple or Prince shapes along with this 320 .... From reading these posts I think the 320 is it

With all that said how much to spend on one ? The price range is crazy up and down 80 and up .. What should I be looking for in these pipes? I'm comfortable with 120 but would go a little high if really made a difference.

What do you guys say

Y'all are the worst kind of enablers. Just ordered a 320 Roma. I picked the Roma version not just because it was pretty enough, but it was also the lightest 320KS on the page at 56 grams. Most were in the 68-72 gram range. Hoping that aids clenching and maybe, just maybe, it's a better piece of wood.

I just scored an unsmoked 1995 320KS. We'll see how it goes. I've had several chubby authors and as much as my eye loves the shape my smoking style doesn't favor them, but the price was right.

See that? I started this thread and it's already caused others to purchase a 320. Except for me! Hahaha, I still haven't purchased one! Ya'll can not purchase another 320 until I've had a chance to do it myself. Bunch of meanies!
 Seriously though, I think I've made up my mind that my next pipe purchase will indeed be a 320.
Troutface and Ashdigger, congrats and enjoy the heck out of it :)

FWIW, the 320 is also high on my list. Love the look, just never pulled the trigger. Sav makes so many varieties of this I'm surprised someone here doesn't have a collection of 320s to show us.

To the guys here that have a 320 and say it's a good lat smoker do you have the KS or the EX ? I have two that I like one of each style now just trying to decide which one to get. Can U help? I'm thinking the EX because of the side surface area

Forums members nearly all (all?) love their 320's. It's a tad heavy for those of us lucky enough to have old teeth, but the stem isn't long, so there's not the leverage factor. I have two authors and a diplomat I enjoy, but no 320s's.

My 320KS is one of my favorite smokers. I also use a 6mm adapter to restrict the draw a little.

Mostly KS here. I only clench one or two pipes, and these are not them.
If you're really on the fence on price, get a Rossi. I have a Bruyere. Same pipe, more fillings, but the stain hides them really well.

Well you're off the hook Anthony. The 320 came yesterday and the first bowl, Westminster, went perfectly. Smoked bone dry and really brought out the Orientals in the blend. I never liked Westminster near as much as Odyssey, Abingdon and others, but in this pipe it came alive.

I have 3 and they all smoke wonderfully. I'm not sure if they are magical but pretty close.
I own 4 of them and love them.3 of the 4 are the unfinished variety, and are excellent smokers for any price . Love to watch them color...

My only Rossi and it smokes great. I will get a Sav eventually but the Canadians are looking good to me right now.
